How this worksCall tracking numbers: buy, name, forward, and release.
- Pick the firm, type an area code, and press Find numbers. Choose one, name it after where it will be used (Google Ads, Business Profile, a billboard), and type the number calls should ring.
- Buy this number asks first: each costs about $1.15 a month on Twilio until released. A firm can have up to 5.
- Every call becomes a lead in the firm’s Leads, labeled with the number’s name, so the monthly report counts calls by source. Missed calls alert the firm’s team.
- Don’t put a tracking number on the firm’s website: the site keeps the real number so the firm’s details match everywhere Google looks.
- Release gives the number back to Twilio. Calls to it stop working.
